Adult Protective Services is responsible for investigating abuse, neglect, and exploitation of adults who are elderly or have disabilities. Reports to APS can be made anonymously and this agency is mandated to follow up on any allegations of abuse or neglect. APS is a run by the county and you can find the phone number for your county APS agency under the “Social Services” section of the county listings.
